What began as two strangers on opposite sides of the world became something far greater than we ever imagined.
We are Chris Robello and L.A Motzouris—co-authors writing across borders. Strangers at first, brought together by a single story that grew into The Robello Effect—a three-book dark thriller romance series. But the series didn’t just stay on the page. It evolved into a movement.
Chris Robello, our founder, CEO, and co-author, is a U.S. Military Sergeant and paratrooper. He brings the grit, discipline, and real-world perspective of someone who has lived on the frontlines of danger. His voice grounds this movement in strength and truth.
L.A Motzouris, our co-founder and creative director, is an artist and storyteller from South Africa who uses creativity as therapy. With a passion for writing stories that cut to the core, L.A brings vision, heart, and a relentless drive to turn fiction into impact.
Together, we’ve built more than a book series. We’ve built The Robello Effect—a growing movement and organisation that shines a light on the very real dangers of identity theft, stalking, and child trafficking.
